SUMMARY:Kabbalat Shabbat with Hostage Families and Israeli Guest Singer Bat Ella
DESCRIPTION:At Kabbalat Shabbat services\, Ansche Chesed will welcome a delegation from the Hostage Families Forum whose loved ones were kidnapped on October 7\, who are working to #BringThemHomeNow. These hostage families will tell us about their loved ones\, so viciously taken\, and about their own unimaginably difficult passage since then. \nPlease join us and our Israeli guests for Friday night services at 5:30pm – which will include the previously planned “New Member” Shabbat dinner\, and participation by another guest\, Israeli singer and recording artist Bat Ella. \nElla\, best known for inspirational and engaging musical experiences that connect people\, will lead the service with Hazzan Hirschhorn and share her recent experiences of volunteer activities and concerts across Israel. \nFollowing Tefillah\, several members of the Families Forum delegation will speak for 15-20 minutes. Attendees can make it to other Shabbat dinners by 7pm. \nPlease come to meet these families\, hear their stories\, share their pain\, and stand in solidarity with our brothers and sisters.
