SUMMARY:The Israeli Election: An Analysis of the September 17th Election
DESCRIPTION:Israel will return to the polls on Septembe 17th after the last election in April was unable to result in the formation of a government. Please join us as we welcome Michael Koplow\, Policy Director of The Israel Policy Forum who will serve as our very own Steve Kornacki and will help us make sense of the results of this election\, and get a better sense of what is to come for the State of Israel. \nMichael Koplow is Israel Policy Forum’s Policy Director\, based in Washington DC. A regular contributor to Foreign Affairs and Foreign Policy magazines\, Michael writes the weekly “Koplow Column” and edits Israel Policy Exchange. Before coming to the Israel Policy Forum\, Michael was the founding program director of the Israel Institute from September 2012 through September 2015. He holds a BA in history from Brandeis\, a JD from NYU\, a masters in Middle Eastern Studies from Harvard\, and a Ph.D. in political science from Georgetown.
