DESCRIPTION:Join us as we begin Shabbat with our traditional Kabbalat Shabbat and maariv service.\n\nOne interpretation of a deeper meaning of the month of Elul describes it as a time of a particularly beautiful and loving connection between God and the Jewish people\, when read as an acronym of “Ani L’Dodi V’Dodi Li” – I am my beloved\, and my beloved is mine\, a quote from the Song of Songs.\nOn this and the remaining Friday nights of Elul from now until Rosh Hashanah\, join Hazzan Hirschhorn and Rabbi Kalmanofsky in welcoming Shabbat with an extra dose of love songs and poetry.\n\nPlease join the Ansche Chesed clergy to reconnect with our community as well as find nourishment and inspiration in the music and words of our tradition.\n\nAs Covid recedes in the city\, we are thrilled that Ansche Chesed can safely open our Sanctuary to ever increasing numbers of davveners.
