Weekday Morning Minyan
Mon, May 16 at 7:30 am – 8:15 am
An event every week that begins at 7:30 am on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, repeating until Sat, July 30, 2022
Anyone who has ever visited Ansche Chesed’s morning minyan will tell you that it is something very special. Meeting in the chapel on the ground floor (currently on Zoom and in the Sanctuary on Sundays and National Holidays due to COVID), the minyan brings together all segments of Ansche Chesed’s diverse community. They gather to say Kaddish for loved ones, to comfort others in mourning, to celebrate simchahs (joyous occasions) and to ground themselves before starting their day. The service is brisk and allows for a more meditative and personal approach than the more formal Shabbat service permits.
During the COVID outbreak, we have moved to the Zoom platform, but we continue to be here for one another!
On Sundays and Civil Holidays we invite you to join us in person in the Ansche Chesed Sanctuary for morning minyan.
As we approach Rosh Hodesh Nisan and Pesach, it is appropriate that we should resume in-person Morning Minyan on a limited basis.
We will begin in-person davening (along with Zoom) on Monday, April 4 and Thursday, April 7, and continue the following week on Monday, April 11 and Thursday, April 14. On Friday, April 15, Erev Pesach, the Siyyum for the First Born will be led by Rabbi Danny Nevins following services (approximagtely 8:15). We’ll begin at 7:30 each day. Schedule for Hol HaMoed is to be determined.
