This service introduces children to a variety of Shabbat tefillot (prayers). A section of the Torah is read and the week’s parsha (Torah portion) is presented through discussion, skits, and stories. Parents are welcome, but not required, to attend.
We are holding our Yigdal Service in-person! We will meet in Riverside Park – the best way to find the spot in the park is to enter on 100th Street and walk north towards the exit leading down to the Hudson River. Services will begin at 11am and will be led by Rabbi Yael Hammerman Please bring your own blankets or towels to sit on, make sure to wear your masks and practice social distancing.
We’ll conclude the June 19 service, for all daveners, young and old, in person and on Zoom, at noon in Riverside Park for a song and nosh.
