Daughter of Auschwitz: Special Invitation for 6th & 7th Grade Families
With the youngest Shoah survivors growing older, we are the final generation who will hear their stories first-hand. Tova Friedman, mother of AC member Gadi Friedman, is one of the very youngest Auschwitz survivors, having entered that prison before her 6th birthday. Reverse Tashlich
Each year during Tashlich, we cast our "sins" into the Hudson River. Join us this year for the "6th Annual Reverse Tashlich," where we will do the opposite and remove debris from the Hudson River Greenway, along Riverside Park -- our own local shore line. Family Shemini Atzeret Nature Walk and Shacharit
Parents and children are invited to join us for a Shemini Atzeret nature walk in Central Park led by Jewish environmental educator, farmer, and storyteller Jacob Kose. We’ll follow the water around the north woods and discuss how Shemini Atzeret, the last day of Sukkot, is rooted in nature’s ancient rhythms. RSVP’s requested, walk-ins welcome.

Join us as we launch this year's B'nai Mitzvah cohort! Spend some time connecting as a family, getting to know other AC B'nai Mitzvah families and hearing more about the B'nai Mitzvah journey at AC. Parents will have the opportunity to meet with Rabbis Jeremy Kalmanofsky and Yael Hammerman and Executive Director Amy Shapiro-Kessler for an overview of the AC B'nai Mitzvah process. B'nai Mitzvah students will also do activities with Education Director Aliza Sebert. Register online!
