Yom Hashoah Community Reading Of the Names

Each Year, Ansche Chesed participates with Synagogues on the Upper West Side and the JCC Manhattan in the annual commemoration of Yom HaShoah, by reading from books of names of those who perished in the Shoah. The Reading of the Names will begin on the evening of Sunday, April 23, from 10pm and continue through the night until Monday, April 24, at 8am. From 9am-7pm the reading continues at the JCC, in the 7th floor Beit Midrash and will conclude with a brief ceremony and Kaddish. Our synagogue…
