Ansche Chesed Teen Programs
Teens are an integral part of Ansche Chesed, with much to offer to each other and the community. We are committed to creating ways for young people to engage with the adult members they are fast becoming while cultivating friendships with their peers and growing in Jewish knowledge, involvement and identity.
Ansche Chesed Teen Programs
The Teen Council plans and hosts events at Ansche Chesed every month. Past events have included Sushi in the Sukkah, Chanukah Movie Night, and Purim Shabbat Dinner. The Teen Programs are open to all eighth through twelfth graders, and are a great opportunity to meet other teens!
Check the calendar and Ansche Chesed’s weekly e-news for announcements of new events.
For more information or to join the Teen Program email listserv, email Education and Family Program Director Aliza Sebert (ASebert@anschechesed.org).
The Ansche Chesed Teen Council
The Ansche Chesed Teen Council is a group of teens responsible for organizing teen programming at Ansche Chesed. The Teen Council meets roughly once a month to brainstorm and organize events for the community, and it is a great way to gain leadership skills, form valuable relationships with other teens and Ansche Chesed staff, and explore your personal Jewish identity. All eighth through twelfth graders are more than welcome to join! If you’re interested in getting involved, email Education and Family Program Director Aliza Sebert (ASebert@anschechesed.org).
