Kabbalat Shabbat and Oneg on the Roof

In honor of the Congregation trip to Poland, our Friday night davening and oneg will come with a Polish flavor. The Kabbalat Shabbat and Maariv prayers will be led by a Warsaw born vocalist Channah Silverman, who is a Cantorial Student at the Jewish Theological Seminary. Channah frequently davens at Ansche Chased’s morning minyan and Shabbat services, and her singing is enriched by her training in classical opera and jazz. Further to our Polish theme, Kliskalach (potato dumplings) will be served at our Oneg.
