Pride Month Lunch, Learn and Love: A Kiddush Conversation with Michaela Slutsky and Rabbi Yael Hammerman

Join Rabbi Yael Hammerman and Michaela Slutsky for a conversation over Kiddush in honor of Pride Month. Michaela will share from her professional and personal experience about the role and voices of LGBTQ+ individuals and community in the organized and “not-yet-organized” Jewish community, and about her work raising up marginalized Jewish voices.

Michaela is the Northeast Regional Director at Repair the World, and has spent the last decade as an educator, director, and community builder. Passionate about serving marginalized communities, Michaela has launched several initiatives for LGBTQ+, BIPOC, and RSJ (Russian-speaking Jewish) communities. Michaela has also spearheaded Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion initiatives as an education consultant at The Jewish Education Project.
