Ansche Chesed Teen Programs
Teens are an integral part of Ansche Chesed, with much to offer to each other and the community. We are committed to creating ways for young people to engage with the adult members they are fast becoming while cultivating friendships with their peers and growing in Jewish knowledge, involvement and identity.
Check our Family Programming calendar and Ansche Chesed’s weekly e-news for announcements of new events.
Ansche Chesed’s teen programs include:
- Teens Across New York: Shabbat dinners and other social events with teens from other New York City Conservative synagogues. In cooperation with the New York chapters of United Synagogue Youth (USY)
- Dinner with the Rabbi: Rabbi Jeremy Kalmanofsky hosts a series of monthly dinners during each of which he leads discussion about the ways that Judaism can guide responses to ethical challenges, both personal and communal.
- Social Gatherings: Check the calendar and Ansche Chesed’s weekly e-news for announcements of new events. For more information or to join the Teen Program email list, contact Education and Family Program Director Aliza Sebert (ASebert@anschechesed.org, 212.865.0600 ext. 217).
