Rabbi Hammerman and Hazzan Hirschhorn are thrilled to welcome The Gesher Chorale, a group of talented teens from the Washington DC area, who will add their voices to our Kabbalat Shabbat and Maariv services, along with their founding director, Hazzan Asa Fradkin of Beth El Congregation in Bethesda, MD. Please note the earlier start time of 5pm.
The Gesher Chorale is an elite group of 6th, 7th and 8th grade vocalists formed by Hazzan Asa Fradkin in 2018. They perform at many of Congregation Beth El’s community celebrations, Shabbat services and around the Bethesda community as well. Their repertoire includes original compositions by Hazzan Fradkin, arrangements of popular service melodies and pop songs as well. They are excited to visit New York City and to daven with Anshe Chesed!
