Refugee Shabbat – Immigrants, Refugees and Asylum Seekers: Then and Now

We will have a unique opportunity to meet some of the refugee families supported by the ACRA tireless volunteers, including a talented Burmese pop singer, who will share some of his story through music!

Shabbat morning services will feature a dvar torah from Ruth Messenger as our speaker, and highlighting the work of ACRA. Ruth was a New York City Council Member, Manhattan Borough President, President of the American Jewish World Service and has been an exemplary Jewish activist for decades.
