Resetting The Table: Roots and Foundations of the Israeli-Palestinian Conflict, 1915-1949

Join Resetting The Table and Ansche Chesed as we delve deeply into the “Dual Narratives” that surround the formation of the State of Israel, from the perspective of Jews and of Palestinians.

Participants will explore the birth of both Jewish and Palestinian national aspirations and their divergent experiences of Israel’s founding. Participants will discuss the ways historical narratives live on today, how they shape the negotiating table, and whether mutual recognition for these narratives might help pave a path forward.

This intense program uses primary texts to explore the ways that both groups view the history of the conflict.
