LOCATION: Society for the Advancement of Judaism (SAJ), 15 West 86th Street
Each Year, Ansche Chesed participates with Synagogues on the Upper West Side and the JCC Manhattan in the annual commemoration of Yom HaShoah, by reading from books of names of those who perished in the Shoah.
The Reading of the Names will begin on the night of Wednesday, April 11 at 10pm and continue until Thursday, April 12, at 8am.
Our synagogue has a designated 20 minute slot for members to read the names. Participants are also welcome to read their own family names.
From 9am to 7pm the reading continues at the JCC.
The time for Teens and Tweens is 7 – 7:30am on Thursday morning, April 12th.

If you can’t make the time slot for Ansche Chesed, the reading will continue at the JCC throughout the day, at 334 Amsterdam Avenue @ 76th Street, on Thursday, April 12th, 9 am – 6 pm.
