Welcome Back Picnic
Join us for a social distanced picnic to see old friends, meet new ones and kick off the year at AC! We will be meeting in Riverside Park around 100th St. (use the 99th street entrance, walk to the right and look for some friendly faces) and we suggest you bring a blanket for your family to sit on. Sukkah Stroller Storytime
Unsure of where to find a Sukkah for Sukkot this year? We have one! Join Rabbi Yael Hammerman and AC Family Program Director, Emily Cobert, to visit our “Pop Up Sukkah,” hear stories about Sukkot, and learn about the lulav and etrog through some movement and sound. (This program is geared towards children age 0-4)

Juggling the Miracle of Fire

Tu B’Shevat Scavenger Hunt in Riverside Park
Join AC Family Program Director, Emily Cobert, in a celebration of nature and Tu B’Shevat. We will learn about Tu B’Shevat, experience nature, go on a scavenger hunt and create our own art piece! (Enter Riverside Park on 100th street and walk towards the entry to the Hudson River). (Geared at Kids ages 3-7 and their parents)

Ansche Chesed Yom Ha’atzmaut Family Mesibah
Shlomit Oren-Ross, an Israeli performative artist, will lead AC families through a fun Yom Ha’atzmaut Mesibah - a party for Israel’s 73rd birthday! Shlmoit will lead us in games, movement activities and an art project. The whole program will be in Hebrew and English. It is geared for kids ages 4 to 9 and their families. Register Here

Family Shavuot Pop-Up and Popsicles
Come by Ansche Chesed on Sunday, May 16th from 3:00-4:30 PM to celebrate Shavuot with popsicles and crafts with Rabbi Yael Hammerman! May the words of Torah be sweet in your mouths! The event will be on the AC steps (100th and West End Avenue). Registrations requested; walk-ins welcome.
