Aviv / Spring Nature Walk Shacharit
Parents and children are invited to join us for an aviv / spring nature walk in Central Park led by Jewish environmental educator, farmer, and storyteller Jacob Kose and Rabbi Yael Hammerman. We’ll follow the water around the north woods and note how this holy ground has changed since we visited last in October, on Shemini Atzeret. Join Tommy Pickles, Grandpa Boris and all their Rugrats friends for a morning of Passover fun at Ansche Chesed. We'll watch the classic '90's Rugrats Passover special (entertaining for the pre-schoolers AND nostalgic for their millennial parents!), get our hands dirty with a Passover craft, and do a taste test for the best Kosher for Passover snacks on the market. Boker Tov Tots in the Sukkah
Babies, tots, preschool kids and their families are invited to join us for breakfast before the Mishpacha service. We’ll provide the food. Kids can eat and play, and parents will have time to schmooze and get to know one another. Kids can come in their jammies, and stuffies welcome too!

Knitters needed! Please join our intergenerational AC Mitzvah Knitting Group. Bubbies, bring your grandkids; kids - bring your parents. For our current project, we will be making a sampler blanket, where we each do a square or two and then put them together into a blanket. Each square is a different pattern so you’ll be able to make more than one! Yarn and pattern will be provided. Please RSVP by emailing Emily.

On Sukkot, it’s a tradition to welcome new people into the Sukkah each day. So, bring a friend to AC and join us on the rooftop Sukkah. We’ll make ice cream sundaes and sukkah decorations inspired by the tradition of welcoming ushpizin (guests) into our sukkah. We look forward to welcoming you and your ushpizin! This event is free!
