Family Sundaes and Ushpizin in the Sukkah
On Sukkot, it’s a tradition to welcome new people into the Sukkah each day. So, bring a friend to AC and join us on the rooftop Sukkah. We’ll make ice cream sundaes and sukkah decorations inspired by the tradition of welcoming ushpizin (guests) into our sukkah. We look forward to welcoming you and your ushpizin! This event is free! Registration encouraged, walk ins welcome.

Join us for a FREE light dairy dinner followed by our annual Torah Unroll, dancing and Hakafot with the rest of the AC Community. Stick around for ice cream and popsicles after the second Hakafa! No RSVP necessary, walk-ins welcome.

Special Kabbalat Shabbat Service
Join us for special Kabbalat Shabbat services, led by students from our ACHS Kitah Zayin class with Hazzan Hirschhorn, and including musical instruments. Following services, we will have a special Shabbat Dinner for all of our Project Aliyah upcoming B'nai Mitzvah families, and the families of our Kitah Zayin students. Learn More and Register
Find out more »Yoga Tefillah for Young Families
Exhale and stretch during Family Yoga Tefilah with AC member + yoga teacher Ellen Braitman. Move, breath and relax as you embrace Shabbat Shal-ommm. Bring a yoga mat or towel, and wear clothing you can move in. Note, this will be in place of our regular Yigdal and Big Kids services. Registrations appreciated, walk-ins welcome!

Shabbat Gym
Meet, schmooze, and enjoy the company of other Ansche Chesed families on Shabbat afternoons while your children play in AC's gym! Back to School, new extracurriculars and... Rosh Hashanah?? Oh my! Let AC take one thing off your plate, and cook Shabbat dinner for you before the High Holidays. Families with kids are invited to join us for a participatory Family Kabbalat Shabbat Service at 5:30pm and dinner on the roof at 6:00pm. Please register for dinner by Tuesday, September 16 at 10am.
