Our Shabbat dinner hospitality program encourages individuals and families to break and share bread and conversations with new and long-standing friends during Shabbat. Tour of the Stephane Mandelbaum Exhibition at The Drawing Center

AC member and writer (New Yorker, Vogue, NYTimes) Leslie Camhi will give us a private tour of this stunning exhibition of large-scale drawings by Belgian artist Stephane Mandelbaum (1961-1986) based on a recent exhibition at the Pompidou. Camhi, who wrote the exhibition catalogue, will illuminate the collection, and The Drawing Center will welcome AC members for refreshments, conversation, and an intimate viewing of the drawings. Interfaith Iftar Dinner & Maktoub/Katuv: An Exploration of Arabic and Hebrew Calligraphy

Join AC and our Muslim partners from Peace Islands Institute for an Interfaith Iftar Dinner (Ramadan break fast), as well as an exploration into the rich visual worlds of Arabic and Hebrew calligraphy, discovering the parallels between both languages.
