Glow in the Dark Family Chanukah Party
Experience the GLOW during a communal Chanukah candle lighting. Eat, sing and enjoy 'glow in the dark' activities! Geared at ages 5-11 and their families. Pizza and Latkes will be served. Registration preferred, walk-ins welcome.

At Kabbalat Shabbat services, Ansche Chesed will welcome a delegation from the Hostage Families Forum whose loved ones were kidnapped on October 7, who are working to #BringThemHomeNow. Everyone is welcome in Hirsch Hall immediately after services for kiddush and schmoozing. We’ll provide the egg/tuna salad and rolls, you bring either fruit, baked goods, vegetables, chips or sides. In memory of filmmaker Yahav Winner, who was killed on October 7 protecting his wife and young child, the Marlene Meyerson JCC Manhattan is hosting an evening honoring his life and work in Kibbutz Aza through film and conversation. This Friday of Shabbat Shira, the Sabbath of Song, join Hazzan Hirschhorn and Shirei Chesed singers for an evening of song and prayer as we support and elevate the voice of our community with rich harmonies. AC teens are invited to join us for an outdoor cleanup (or indoor volunteer project, weather dependent) followed by a Tu B'Shevat Seder! We will volunteer and enjoy delicious treats as we celebrate Tu B'Shevat. Please dress warmly as we will spend at least 30-45 minutes outdoors, weather permitting.
