Yom Hashoah Reading of the Names

Each Year, Ansche Chesed participates with Synagogues on the Upper West Side and the JCC Manhattan in the annual commemoration of Yom HaShoah, by reading from books of names of those who perished in the Shoah. The Reading of the Names will begin on the evening of Wednesday, April 7 at 10pm and continue through the night until Thursday, April 8 at 7am. Non-Orthodox Conversion in Israel

Join Rabbi Jeremy Kalmanofsky for a roundtable discussion on the Recent Israeli Supreme Court Decision on non-Orthodox conversion, and the legal status of non-Orthodox streams in Israel. Ansche Chesed Yom Ha’atzmaut Family Mesibah 

Shlomit Oren-Ross, an Israeli performative artist, will lead AC families through a fun Yom Ha’atzmaut Mesibah - a party for Israel’s 73rd birthday!
