And yet, in Jewish law and spirituality, the practice of confessing your sins, or vidui, is indispensable to the process of personal change. Each year during Tashlich, we cast our "sins" into the Hudson River. Join us this year for the "6th Annual Reverse Tashlich," where we will do the opposite and remove debris from the Hudson River Greenway, along Riverside Park -- our own local shore line. In honor of Shabbat Shuva, the shabbat between Rosh Hashana and Yom Kippur, Marjorie Ingall will deliver the dvar torah in the Sanctuary, and then during Kiddush she will teach about "good apologies."
