Levana: A Rosh Chodesh Group for Women

Welcome the new Hebrew month with Levana – AC’s new Rosh Chodesh group for those who identify as women. Come for community, conversation, and a cup of tea. Bring old friends or make new ones, as we learn about and from each other. Havdalah Service and Sandwich-Making

Adults and children will gather at Ansche Chesed for a joyful Havdalah service led by our youth leaders. We'll then work together to prepare sandwiches and assemble meal packages for people in our neighborhood who are hungry and homeless. We are organizing a group to volunteer at the Trinity Lutheran Church of Manhattan's annual Thanksgiving Community Meal. Last year, this event served over a 1000 of our neighbors! All ages are welcome to volunteer, although children need to be supervised by an adult. Wednesday, Nov 27, 6:30pm  We will help prepare the kitchen, set the tables, and make table decorations.
