Dreamcoat Experience Yom Ha’atzmaut: Musical Extravaganza

Award-winning experiential educators from Dreamcoat Experience present an interactive, Hebrew-infused Yom Ha’atzmaut birthday celebration with songs, puppets, drama games, and Israeli dancing. Interfaith/Interface: A Musical Collaboration Inspired By The Psalms

This concert will feature one of the today's most compelling and unusual ensembles, The Afro-Semitic Experience, dedicated to merging the Jewish and Afro-diasporic melodies and grooves, combining the core concepts of àse and shalom - power, action, unity, and peace.  The group will be joined by Cantor Natasha J. Hirschhorn and Shirei Chesed Community Chorus with the musical settings of psalms from both Jewish and ecumenical perspectives, exploring a rich soundscape from classical to gospel to jazz and beyond.
