Teen Class On Jewish Identity
What is my personal Jewish identity? What is our collective Jewish identity? AC high school students are invited to join Rabbi Kalmanofsky and Sam Blustin, Ansche Chesed’s Youth Director, for a bi-weekly class to discuss who we think we are and want to be, amid rising anti-Semitism and changing awareness of racism and privilege in our society.

Virtual Chanukah Baking with the AC Teens!
AC Teens (8th grade and up) are invited to celebrate Chanukah as we bake a special treat and light candles together. Reverse Tashlich
Each year during Tashlich, we cast our "sins" into the Hudson River. Join us this year for the "6th Annual Reverse Tashlich," where we will do the opposite and remove debris from the Hudson River Greenway, along Riverside Park -- our own local shore line. Tzelem Moving Traditions Group (13-18 year olds)
During this group nonbinary, trans, gender expansive, and LGBTQ+ Jewish teens will gather monthly with a trained adult mentor using a dynamic curriculum. Together in a circle of support, participants experience a brave, sacred space to celebrate and support together through joys and challenges, consider the impact of gender norms on their daily lives, be their authentic selves with their peers, and explore topics that matter most to them. Teen Tu B’Shevat Seder and Volunteering
AC teens are invited to join us for an outdoor cleanup (or indoor volunteer project, weather dependent) followed by a Tu B'Shevat Seder! We will volunteer and enjoy delicious treats as we celebrate Tu B'Shevat. Please dress warmly as we will spend at least 30-45 minutes outdoors, weather permitting.
